BIR North branch

Our new north branches need you!

North - Angel of the North

We are launching two new branches to support our members in the north of England, one in the north west region and one in the north east and Yorkshire region. Our two new branches will enable members to access events and activities without the need to travel long distances.

  • We are looking for enthusiastic members across the disciplines to come on board and help us form two committees to drive educational events in the new north west region and the north east and Yorkshire  region. We are also looking for two creative and enthusiastic chairs with a desire to make a difference in the world of radiology, radiography and radiotherapy.  The aim is to organise one or two events each year in each region.
  • You will learn to develop your own events and network with colleagues from all disciplines as well as broaden your skills and improve your CV
  • The new committee members and chairs will have the support and advice of members from the original North Branch to help establish the two new branches.
  • The Branch Committee meets 3-4 times per year, mostly via telephone or video conference, with one face to face meeting

Health professionals from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Interested? Email with a brief biography and a statement on why you would like to be involved.
