The Clinical Imaging SIG is a multidisciplinary group. We welcome radiologists, physicists and radiographers. The group promotes and facilitates teaching and research in clinical radiology and related fields.

The SIG organise one-day meetings on specific topics of current interest.

Latest SIG News - November 2018

  • The BIR’s Annual Congress for 2018 had been the most successful ever and there had been 294 delegates registered over the two days. This was an increase of almost 50% from last year.  The SIG had contributed significantly to the programme and it was noted that the Clinical Imaging Stream was the busiest.
  • BIRAC 2019 – the programme for next year’s congress is being developed and once again the CI SIG will have a strong input. Watch out for more details on the website!

Last year’s  successful event on AI is being repeated on 29 March organised by both Clinical Imaging and Clinical Intelligence & Informatics SIGs. Like before, the event will be a collaboration with the RCR.   Registration is filling fast, so book now: ‘Artificial Intelligence in 2019: where are we now?’.
