Helen Hughes is BIR Vice President for External Affairs.
Helen is a radiographer with over 30 years experience, and has a background in CT and Interventional radiology. Her current role is Professional Service Manager-Radiography, Betsi Cadawaldr University Health Board. She is a passionate believer in patient centred high quality safe care and is an active member of the BIR Radiation Safety Special Interest Group (SIG) and leads the Imaging quality forum for Wales. Helen joined BIR's Council in 2018.
