Rheumatology was the topic for the second in the highly successful BIR MSK Imaging series held in London on 10 May. The sold-out event, organised by the BIR clinical imaging special interest group attracted a record 100 radiologists, radiographers and trainees who benefitted from a day of highly informative and engaging talks delivered by key eminent speakers including Dr Andrew Grainger from Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Dr Asif Saifuddin from Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.
The talks covered a vast spectrum of rheumatological disorders with an emphasis on radiological diagnosis, management and current best practice. The feedback from the delegates was 
overwhelmingly positive with many praising the variety of topics on offer and the multidisciplinary approach of the event. A highlight was a lively discussion between expert rheumatologists who provided valuable insights gained from their range of skills and experience.
The success of the event demonstrates the growing reputation of our MSK Imaging Series which continues in early 2018 with a focus on the upper limb.
