Since the beginning of March, Bayer Radiology has been working at full steam to implement comprehensive business continuity measures to ensure ongoing support to hospitals, radiology staff and patients during these difficult times and especially to the NHS in the fight against COVID-19.

Maintaining supplies of Bayer Radiology products and services to hospitals, radiology staff and patients has been a top priority. Not only has the company been working across the NHS to supply key products to ensure patients continue to have access to essential imaging to determine the severity of their disease, but it is also continuing to offer services for breakdowns and installations of injectors, including engineers and clinical teams responding to requests for hospital visits and providing onsite maintenance.

Support from the clinical team also involves detailed information provision on the cleaning of Bayer Radiology products in hospitals as well as remote training to customers, as required – with appropriate face-to-face sessions where needed, planned in hospitals following social distancing guidance, all of which has been implemented to ensure that hospital departments stay up and running at this very busy time.

Most recently, Bayer Radiology has begun to supply new injectors to the new Nightingale hospitals around the country as well as to private healthcare institutions who are supporting the NHS to save lives
