Cobalt deploys CT scanners for Nightingale hospitals

Cobalt BristolMedical charity Cobalt, working in partnership with Siemens Healthineers and NHS England, have deployed Somatom go.Top and go.All mobile CT scanners along with experienced CT radiographers to support the NHS Nightingale hospitals in Birmingham and Bristol. The services will provide support for COVID-19 patients for up to 24 hours per day.

Peter Sharpe, Cobalt Chief Executive said "We are very pleased that through strong partnerships we are able to a make a significant contribution to support the COVID-19 national emergency. We also continue to work with the NHS by providing PET/CT, CT and MRI services for oncology patients, as it is important these services continue as normal."
