Aidence has become a corporate member of the British Institute of Radiology (BIR). Aidence’s mission is to use artificial intelligence (AI) to empower radiologists to deliver better, more affordable cancer care. Already a strong supporter of the BIR’s events on artificial intelligence, Aidence will be one of the sponsors of a key virtual event in the BIR programme, Lung Cancer Imaging: Update for the not-so-new normal on 11 September 2020.
Dr Lizzie Barclay, Medical Director for Aidence and previous Registrar commented, “The BIR is a fantastic organisation, committed to truly supporting the radiology community - with, for instance, the great educational materials I’ve so keenly used during my radiology traineeship. I am honoured to partner with the BIR to further show today’s radiologists how AI can reduce some of their workload and help them provide better healthcare.”
