The British Institute of Radiology launches Radiation Safety Week 25 February – 1 March 2019 with a daily issue of Radiation Safety Advice Sheets

To promote best practice and excellence in Radiation Safety, a series of short advice sheets are being published by the British Institute of Radiology (BIR) that give information on key aspects of radiation safety, why they are important and where to find some further information.

Professor Perry J Pickhardt delivered the eponymous BIR/Canon Mayneord Memorial Lecture titled “The natural history of colorectal neoplasia?” on Monday 2 July to an audience of radiologists, radiographers, scientists and oncologists gathered at UKRCO in Liverpool.
