HealthManagement Journal now FREE to BIR members

HealthManagement Journal

BIR members will now receive HealthManagement, a new cross-departmental journal and online platform, as part of a new package of benefits on offer for 2014.

HealthManagement combines Imaging Management, Healthcare IT Management and Cardiology Management. The journal is distributed worldwide with a circulation of over 60,000.

The publication is invaluable to clinicians and other healthcare professionals from all disciplines involved in managing hospital departments and private practices, offering quality assurance, good practice and case studies from across the world. The content also provides useful information for trainees and students looking to widen their knowledge of all sectors.

BIR President Andrew Jones said, “We are delighted to be partnering with HealthManagement to offer our members free access to this unique publication. Management skills are vital for a wide range of healthcare professionals and this resource offers key information which complements BJR, our flagship academic journal.”

Section Editor-in-chief of HealthManagement Christian Marolt said “We are really pleased to be collaborating with the BIR as they are leaders in promoting cross-departmental collaboration. We know members will enjoy reading HealthManagement and will find it an invaluable resource for researching best practice and gaining management knowledge and advice.”

HealthManagement will be delivered both electronically and in print form to BIR members from February 2014.
