We are developing an innovative range of online-learning resources, including webinars, video conferencing and e-learning modules, to meet the educational needs of the membership.
This is an exciting development for the BIR. We would very much like you to have the opportunity to offer your knowledge, skills and expertise to this BIR development, whether it’s identifying suitable topics and/or experts, helping to develop learning materials, delivering a webinar etc.
What’s expected….
Working party activity would consist of a variety of face-to-face meetings, telephone and/or video conferences and e-mail communications as necessary and to fit with your availability. You can contribute to the developments by:
• identifying innovative delivery methods that we could use
• joining in discussions to identify a programme of current topics for webinars in your relevant area of expertise
• working as part of a small group to develop an educational resource
• road testing some of our educational ideas or suggestions from other members.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to have central involvement in a major strand of the education offering at the BIR and, as an individual, to add this to your portfolio of work for our organisation.
If you are interested in being involved please contact Sarah Adibi, Head of Education, on 020 3668 2220 or e-mail sarah.adibi@bir.org.uk. If you know of any other BIR members or colleagues who would like to get involved, please ask them to contact me.
