We are delighted to have joined the Alliance for Pediatric Imaging, also known as Image Gently. The BIR supports the Alliance’s objective of raising awareness in the imaging community of the need to adjust radiation dose when imaging children and the ultimate goal of changing practice.
The Image Gently website offers advice and resources for the public and professionals about safe levels of radiation dose.
Dr David Wilson, President of the BIR said “We are committed to safety in radiation dose and we are delighted to support this organisation which does much so much to spread the word amongst parents and healthcare providers.”
