BIR features in Future of Imaging campaign

Future of Imaging front coverThe ‘Future of Imaging’ campaign was an online and print supplement distributed  in the Guardian newspaper in February to an audience of over 160,000 readers and the BIR collaborated in its publication.

Produced by Mediaplanet, the publication was aimed at raising awareness of the vital role imaging plays in healthcare and was introduced by BIR President Andy Rogers. Other articles commissioned by the BIR included the controversial issue of radiographer reporting by Professor Nigel Thomas and BIR trustee Dr Nick Woznitza, artificial intelligence by Dr Vicky Goh and radiation safety by BIR Radiation Safety Chair Peter Hiles.

The supplement will be given away at UKRCO and all BIR events in the next few months.

The BIR will be working on a further issue on the topic of Radiotherapy in the coming months which will be launched at UKRCO in June.
