BIR Annual Congress 2018

The BIR Annual Congress 2018 held in London on 1 and 2 November was a busy two days of multidisciplinary education and networking. Highlights included the “Sir Godfrey Hounsfield Eponymous Lecture” by Professor Andre Dekker from Maastrict University on “Big Data for Better Cancer Care” and the plenary lecture delivered by Dr Katharine Halliday on “Getting it Right First Time”.

There were three streams each day covering Clinical Imaging, Oncology, Radiation protection, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Clinical Practice and Leadership Management. Missed it this year? We are already planning next year’s event so please save the dates 7 and 8 November 2019 in your diary!
