On 20 September 2018 Dr Jane Phillips-Hughes was inaugurated as the new BIR President for 2018-20. At a reception attended by around 90 members, corporate members and supporters as well as representatives from other professional bodies, Andy Rogers handed over the chain of office to Dr Phillips-Hughes.
