Professor Andrew Scarsbrook was the recipient of the Sir Godfrey Hounsfield Award at the BIR Annual Congress on 8 November 2019. He delivered the eponymous lecture on the topic of “PET-CT: From evolution to revolution” to a packed auditorium. Professor Andrew Scarsbrook is a dual-certified Consultant in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at St James's Institute of Oncology in Leeds. He is also a Professor of Radiology at the University of Leeds and has published extensively on many aspects of PET-CT. He received his award from BIR President Dr Jane Phillips-Hughes.
