It was with great sadness that we learnt of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on 9 April. Our sincere condolences were sent to Her Majesty the Queen, the Patron of the BIR, from Dr Sridhar Redla, BIR President, on behalf of the BIR Council and trustees and all our members. His extraordinary service over so many decades will not be forgotten and he will be greatly missed.
