Ever been curious about those intricate Coat of Arms designs seen on societies, professional bodies and schools across the world? Professor Steve Keevil will de-mystify the background to design, history and symbolism in this British Society of the History of Radiology Annual Lecture on Monday 5 February at 7pm. He will explore how it is a living art with coats of arms still in widespread use and new ones granted every year including the BIR’s own coat of arms which was granted in a formal King’s Grant in 2023. Don’t miss this fascinating deep-dive into history and a great chance to catch up with colleagues away from the workplace.
The lecture takes place at the Governor’s Hall, St Thomas’ Hospital, London.
