The Good Picture Symposium

5 July 2023

BIR Honorary Historian, Dr Adrian Thomas is just one of many esteemed speakers at the next “Good Picture Symposium” on Saturday 2 December organised by the Imaging Science Group of the Royal Photographic Society where he will be speaking about recent advances in radiology.

The lectures and discussions, which will take place at the University of Westminster, provide imaging practitioners, keen amateurs and students with insights into imaging. The eclectic mix of topics include “How many pixels does it take to scan a WWII submarine?”, “Treachery of images, tales from forensic science” and “Digital Imaging Techniques to Elucidate the Pathology of COVID-19 and Long COVID”. The aim is to provide imaging practitioners, keen amateurs and students with insights into imaging and provide some tools and guidelines for assessing cameras and software.
