Awarded to Ruby Callister and team from St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for improving the patient imaging pathway of pelvic and acetabular fixation patients in terms of quality of imaging, patient radiation dose and patient comfort.

 

2020 Award

Awarded to Dr Alex Stewart and team, Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, for developing the ‘One-stop Papillon Clinic’ for patients travelling long distance and enabling radiotherapy treatment on the day of consultation

2019 Award

Dr Chrissy Zelenyanszki & Team, InHealth, Surrey County Council Adult Social Care, Surrey & Border Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Learning Disability Liaison Service and Surrey Choices. The award was for their work to improve screening attendance of women with learning difficulties.

 

2018 Award

Mrs Victoria Ballard, Ms Katherine Day and Dr Madhumita Shrotri from the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust. The award was for their work on improving radiographer led discharge pathways.

 

2017 Award

Dr Amit Bahl & Team, Bristol Cancer Unit, Bristold NHS Foundation Trust. The award was for developing an integrated model for delivering isotope treatments and designing and running relevant training courses at various UK hospitals.

 

2016 Award

Dr Sam Hare & colleagues, Barnet Hospital, Royal Free London NHS Trust. The award was for setting up the ambulatory lung biopsy service.

 

2015 Award

Dr Elspeth Whitby, Dr Marta Cohen, Dr Amaka Offiah and Dr Ashok Raghavan (Sheffield Children’s Hospital).The award was for their work in establishing the world’s first minimally invasive autopsy service for the fetal and neonatal age group, based on magnetic resonance imaging.
