Eponymous Lectures
The BIR has two eponymous lectures in memory of individuals who have made a special contribution to radiology and to the Institute: the Sir Godfrey Hounsfield Lecture, presented at one of the BIR's scientific meetings; and the Mayneord Memorial Lecture,sponsored by Aidennce and presented at the BIR Annual Congrress.
The last Frank Ellis Memorial Award was made in 2015.
A memorial to Sir James Mackenzie Davidson has been relaunched in the form of a pump-priming Research Award, sponsored by Siemens.
