Council and Trustees

The Council is the governing body of the Institute.  It comprises of up to 17 trustees, who are members of the Institute and are appointed to Council for up to three years.  Council meets a minimum of four times a year.

Upcoming Vacancies  for 2018/19

There are vacancies for two Ordinary Trustees for the session starting 1 October 2018.

Nominations must be from two members of the BIR, with the consent of the person being nominated, and should include a short resume of up to 500 words on the relevant experience of the nominee. Nominations should be sent to by 31 May 2018.
